Guidelines & Submission Requirements
The Doctoral Colloquium offers Ph.D. students an opportunity to present their research and engage in discussions with peers and a panel of senior MIND researchers and practitioners. The event will be full day with a separate space for a poster presentation.
We encourage applications from students across a wide range of fields, including Machine Learning, Image Processing, Network Security, and Data Science. Applicants should be Ph.D. candidates with a clear research direction relevant to MIND, but who would benefit from feedback and mentorship from fellow students and senior experts. Preference will be given to candidates who have a defined research topic and showcase initial thoughts to get input and recognition among the research community.
The Colloquium committee will select approximately 30 participants. These students will give brief, informal presentations on their research, followed by in-depth group discussions. Participants will also showcase their research in an interactive poster session during the main conference.
The participants will gain the following from the Doctoral Colloquium at MIND 2024:
- Access to all the sessions and events of the main conference
- Opportunity to showcase the research work and to get inputs from the MIND researchers and senior experts
- Recognition among the research community
- Award and certificate to three best proposals
- Conference kit, Food and Networking Opportunities
- Publication in conference booklet
