The Department of Computer Science and Engineering, National Institute of Technology, Goa is excited to announce its upcoming 6th International Conference on Machine Learning, Image Processing, Network Security, and Data Sciences (MIND 2024) on the 20th and 21st of December 2024 at the National Institute of Technology Goa, India. This event will bring together researchers, experts, and practitioners from different fields to share their knowledge, insights, and experiences on the latest advancements and innovations in these domains.
The conference aims to provide a platform for interdisciplinary collaborations and foster a vibrant community of researchers and practitioners in these areas. It will feature keynote speakers, technical sessions, and panel discussions, covering a broad range of topics related to machine learning, image processing, network security, and data sciences. About NIT Goa
The National Institute of Technology Goa (NIT Goa) is a premier national-level technical institute in India established in 2010 by an act of parliament (NIT Act, 2007 and NIT (Amendment) Act, 2012). NIT Goa is an autonomous institute functioning under the aegis of Ministry of Education (MoE), Government of India, and has been declared an “Institute of National Importance”. The Campus is located at Kottamoll Plateau, Cuncolim Municipal Area, Salcete Taluka, South Goa District, Goa - 403703.
About CSE Department
The Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) of NIT Goa is one of the founding departments of the institute, started in 2010. It offers 4 years full time B. Tech. degree program, 2 years full time M.Tech. degree program and Ph.D. program in Computer Science and Engineering.
The faculty members of CSE department have expertise in the following areas: mobile computing, context-aware computing, machine learning, mobile virtual communities, data mining, healthcare informatics, wireless sensor networks, information security, network security, cryptography, cloud security, key management, content based information retrieval, pattern recognition, kernel methods for pattern analysis, machine learning, artificial neural networks, computer vision, speech technology, algorithms, computational intelligence, privacy and security, network protocols, blockchain and wireless networks.
About Goa State
Goa is a state in western India with coastlines stretching along the Arabian Sea. Its long history as a Portuguese colony prior to 1961 is evident in its preserved 17th-century churches and the area’s tropical spice plantations. Goa is also known for its beaches, ranging from popular stretches at Baga and Palolem to those in laid-back fishing villages such as Agonda and many more attactions are there.
